About the Artist:

Leila Desirée Platt, a Tennessee resident, painted watercolors for over eighteen years. She now paints large, colorful oils often inspired from her travels. Her works, published by Harpeth House, Bentley House, and Directional publishing, have sold in all fifty states, England and France. They have appeared in catalogs including Ross Simons, Speigel, Anticipations, The Horchow Collection, David Kay, Charles Keath, and Touch of Class. She has had numerous solo exhibitions, and her work is in many private collections.

Artist Statement:
My work is an attempt to put in tangible form a fleeting feeling, a moment, a light or place that thrills me in some way. My hope is that the viewer can share these impressions for years to come.
